TOURISTS AND BALIKBAYANS WILL BE GIVEN PRIVELEGES DURING THE SAN PABLO CITY’S COCOFESTIVAL 2011

San Pablo City- City Administrator Loreto S. Amante and Over-All Chairman of Cocofest 2011 is calling all tourists and balikbayans to visit San Pablo City and be a  part of this years’ annual celebration of Cocofestival from January 9-15, 2011 with the theme “Piyesta ng Niyog, Makulay, Makakalikasan, Masagana at Masayang Selebrasyon ng Naiibang Kultura at Talino ng Lahing San Pableňo.”

According to City Admin. Amante tourists and balikbayans who will visit the city during the week-long cocofestival celebration will be given special priveleges through tour guides, discounts on hotel accommodations and restaurants, reserved seats on the main stage at city plaza during the street dancing and float parade competitions and during the Coco festival’s other special events and activities.

Balikbayans and Tourists may visit the Tourism Affairs Office booth at the Cocotrade Fair at the Old CFI Bldg. at the City Plaza for proper registration and issuance of identification cards upon presentation of their passports and other travel documents. And they are encourage to call the Tourism Office at (049)5621-429 for inquiries and additional information.

City Admin. Amante added that this special project is to encourage tourists to take part in the annual celebration of the Coco Festival, to promote the city’s potentials for tourism and investment opportunities and to celebrate the spirit of solidarity and goodwill in the pursuit of progress for the city. This is special project is in cooperation of the Tourism Affairs Office and the City Information Office. (CIO-SPC)
