DLSP NEWSPAPER “BAGONG SINAG” HUMAKOT NG AWARDS SA REGIONAL HIGHER PRESS CONFERENCE

San Pablo City- Humakot ng may 23 awards ang “Bagong Sinag”, ang official college newspaper ng Dalubhasaan ng Lunsod ng San Pablo sa nakaraang Regional Higher Press Conference ng Association of Tertiary School Paper Adviser of southern Tagalog nuong nakaraang Dec. 12-14 na ginanap sa Lucban, Quezon.

Nagwagi ang Bagong Sinag sa Group Category ng sumusunod: Tabloid- Best Tabloid (8^th place); Best News Page (6^th place); Best Sports Page (7^th place); Best Devcom Page (8^th place at Best Page Design (10^th place); Magazine- Best Magazine (10^th place); Best News Page (6^th place); Best Devcom Page (9^th place) at Best Editorial Page (10^th place); Broadsheet- Best News Page (4^th place) at Best Editorial Page (5^th place).

Nagwagi naman sa Individual Category ay sina Erwin Villalobos (2^nd place, Literary Graphics Illustration-Fil.); Laarni Cristo (3^rd place, Photojournalism-Fil., 7^th place, Poetry Writing-Fil.); Cherry May Serida (6^th place, Copyreading and Headline Writing-Fil., 7^th place, Editorial Writing-Eng.); Tristan June Alejandro (6^th place, Devcom Writing-Eng.), John Micko Montejo ( 6^th place, Literary Graphics Illustration-Eng., 7^th place, Comic Strip Drawing-Eng.), Patricia Joy Sanorjo (7^th place, Photojournalism-Eng.), Jolly Nadal (7^th place, Devcom Writing-Fil.) at Abigail Joy Alvero (9^th place, Sports Writing-Eng.)

Sa Special Contest naman ay nagwagi ng 7^th place sa Desktop Publishing sina Tristan June Alejandro, Erwin Villalobos, Patricia Joy Sanorjo, Cherry May Serida at Abigail Joy Alvero.

Kaya lubos na pagbati ang ipinaaabot nina Mayor Vicente Amante at City Admin. Amben Amante sa Bagong Sinag sa pamumuno ng kanilang Adviser na si Ms. Brenda Enmacino at sa Editor-in-Chief na si Tristan June Alejandro sa panibago na namang karangalang nakuha ng DLSP. (CIO-SPC)
